Types of Hotels The inexpensive hotel is also called the 1-star hotel according to the European classification. These are plain hotels. Inexpensive hotels are modestly furnished. As a rule, there are no private bathrooms, phones and TV-sets in every bedroom. Meals are provided for residents but are usually limited for non-residents.
