  1. Цели и задачи изучения дисциплины


1.1 Цель преподавания дисциплины

Цель курса – повышение языковедческой компетенции и расширения лингвистического кругозора студентов; совершенствование коммуникативных умений и навыков в области речевой культуры, формирование современной языковой личности; повышение речевой культуры студентов; совершенствование владения нормами устного и письменного литературного языка; развитие навыков и умений эффективного речевого поведения в различных ситуациях общения; а также развитие психологической готовности эффективно взаимодействовать с партнерами по коммуникации.



1.2 Задачи изучения дисциплины

Основными задачами изучения дисциплины «Иностранный язык (английский язык)» являются:



  1. развитие языковой компетенции (владение языковым материалом с целью его использования);

  2. развитие речевой компетенции (способность понимать текст, предъявляемый зрительно или со слуха и порождать речевое высказывание в устной или письменной форме).

  3. изучение лексики, предусмотренной темами данного курса;

  4. изучение грамматических компонентов культуры речевого общения, предусмотренных темами данного курса;

  5. овладение рецептивными и продуктивными видами речевой деятельности (рецептивные – чтение и аудирование, продуктивные – говорение и письмо).


1.3 Межпредметная связь
В ходе обучения дисциплины «Иностранный язык» студенты знакомятся с базовой терминологией, основами техники ведения беседы, правилам поиска и записи информации на иностранном языке. Результатом решения задач изучения дисциплины «Иностранный язык» является формирование всех основных составляющих компетенций, развитие и дальнейшее формирование способностей к социальному взаимодействию в процессе дальнейшей работы, стремление к самообразованию и самосовершенствованию.

Самостоятельная работа
В процессе изучения всех тем, предусмотренных учебной программой дисциплины, студентам необходимо самостоятельно освоить материалы, приведенные в учебно–методическом обеспечении самостоятельной работы студентов. В ходе подготовки в письменной форме выполняются задания, составляются планы, конспекты текстов, схемы и таблицы по изучаемому материалу.

Студенты также готовят доклады и выступления на предложенные темы, предусмотренные программой, пользуясь основной и дополнительной литературой, ресурсами сети Интернет (п. 4.1). Текст доклада должен содержать лексические единицы и грамматические конструкции, изучаемые в рамках выбранной темы. Темы докладов приведены в методических указаниях для самостоятельной работы студентов.

Проектная работа в группе и паре предполагает совместную деятельность группы или пары студентов (от 2х до 4х человек) по проекту в рамках выбранной темы. Методические указания по проектной работе и темы проектов приведены в методических указаниях для самостоятельной работы студентов.

В течение семестра студенты пишут эссе и сочинения по предложенным темам объемом 120-180 слов, пользуясь списком предложенной литературы и ресурсами Интернет, оформляя работу в соответствии с приведенными в методических указаниях требованиями.

Самостоятельная работа включает составление тематических словарей, где каждая лексическая единица сопровождается транскрипцией, переводом, грамматическими и стилистическими комментариями, устойчивыми словосочетаниями.

Подготовка к текущему, промежуточному и итоговому контролю осуществляется в течение семестра. Студенты систематизируют, детализируют полученные знания и повторяют пройденный материал, пользуясь основной и дополнительной литературой, ресурсами сети Интернет (п. 4.1).

Проверка выполнения самостоятельной работы проводится на аудиторных занятиях, во время текущего, промежуточного и итогового контроля.

Формы контроля
Формами промежуточного контроля являются контрольные работы по завершению каждого из модулей, лексические диктанты по изученным темам, грамматические самостоятельные работы, а также итоговые контрольные работы по прохождении группы модулей или тем, проводимые в 1-4 семестрах освоения дисциплины «Иностранный язык» (английский язык).

Формой итогового контроля выступает зачет в 1, 2 и 3 семестрах, выставляемый при условии 80% посещения практических занятий и сдачи всех необходимых письменных или устных, самостоятельных и контрольных работ. Минимальный балл для допуска на зачет — 30 баллов.

Зачет по дисциплине состоит из двух частей, балл по каждой части разделяется равномерно.


  1. Письменная контрольная работа по завершении четырех модулей в 1-3 семестре (письменная часть).

  2. Письменная часть экзамена PET (Listening, Reading, Writing, Use of English) в 1 семестре и письменная часть экзамена FCE (Listening, Reading, Writing, Use of English) в 3 семестре.

  3. Беседа с преподавателем по предложенным темам (устная часть).

Формой итогового контроля в 4 семестре выступает экзамен, выставляемый при условии 80% посещения практических занятий и сдачи всех необходимых письменных или устных, самостоятельных и контрольных работ. Минимальный балл для допуска на экзамен — 30 баллов.



Экзамен по дисциплине состоит из двух частей, балл по каждой части разделяется равномерно.

  1. Письменная контрольная работа по завершении четырех модулей в 4 семестре (письменная часть).
